This seminar will help you understand how we got here and offer practical steps to apply in your own organization. DR. EVE MECEDA “UNLOCKING THE POWER OF HABITS: HOW TO START, STOP, SUSTAIN, OR CHANGE ALMOST ANYTHING”
What if there were reliable ways to increase our good habits and reduce our bad habits?
In this highly interactive session, we unpack the four components of any habit – and leverage this understanding to create a simple, powerful, and sustainable framework for habit change. The focus is on specific, practical tools that we can use every day to build habits that enhance our success, efficiency, and happiness – or to reduce/eliminate habits that don’t serve us well.
Once we understand how to apply these tools to our own habits, we are then in a position to share these powerful systems with the most important people in our professional and personal lives, similarly helping them to increase their own performance and lead more awesome lives.
Value To Members & Guests
Participants will leave the session with a deep understanding of the mechanics of habit change – and with specific tools to ensure that they can effectively implement these tools in their own lives. They will also be well-equipped to share these tools with others, so that the most important people in their professional and personal lives can enact these changes as well.

KEN GOLDE “THE F.A.S.T. WAY: DEFINING YOUR FEELINGS, ACTIONS, SPEECH, & THOUGHTS TO CREATE THE FUTURE YOU DESIRE”
“The F.A.S.T. Way: is an exploration into how external events, other people, circumstances and situations create thoughts and feelings within you, which come out through you in words, actions, and how you physically appear to others without your intent or awareness, often driving your life in directions that you do not desire.
Business owners and executives will learn how to identify the internal, invisible patterns of thought and behavior that interfere with decision making and limit their own success, then take control of that engine, developing a moment-by-moment intentionality in their feelings, actions, speech and thoughts to aligns their communication with how others receive them, emerging as stronger leaders with more skills to reach their peak performance.
Value To Members & Guests
Through the process of identifying and breaking through personal, pattern behaviors that interfere with their leadership, Vistage members and their guests will have gained powerful tools to strengthen their confidence, effectiveness and bottom line results with their customers, colleagues and employees, and other stakeholders.

PATRICK UNGASHICK “THE GROWTH MYTH”
What makes one business more desirable than another to a prospective buyer? Why is selling a business or passing a business to a family member often so difficult and costly? How does a CEO or owner know if the decisions he or she is making today are helping or hurting the potential for a successful exit?
In this workshop, Patrick Ungashick addresses “The Growth Myth,” which is the erroneous belief that if company leaders can succeed in growing the business, they will then be successful at exiting the business. The heart of the myth is that owners and CEOs often confuse growth with value; for example, decisions and actions that grow a privately held business at times fail to increase value. Without value that is transferable to a buyer or successor, it may be difficult or impossible to exit successfully.
Value To Members & Guests
- Understanding of three ways to maximize total business value at exit
- A prioritized checklist for taking action in each of the Seven Elements of Transferable Value™
- Transferable Value™ benchmarks against similar businesses and Vistage members
